Nearly $4 Million Donated to Nonprofits To-Date!
The Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation is the non-profit organization that oversees the annual Barracuda Championship PGA TOUR event. Since our inception in 1999, we have had the honor of aiding numerous charities thanks to the ongoing support of the community.
In 2016 alone, the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation gave back over $382,000 to charities. This brought the total charitable giving to-date by the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation to over $3.6 million! In particular, we would like to recognize “Each One, Tell One” as the 2016 PGA TOUR Charity of the Year. “Each One, Tell One” is an organization dedicated to raising dense breast tissue awareness for early breast cancer detection, and we are proud to support this incredible movement.

The Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization recognized under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It was established in 1999 for the purpose of generating funds to operate the Barracuda Championship. After the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation reaches its operational goals, the Foundation supports other qualified charitable organizations. Contributions to the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
