Over $4 Million Donated to Nonprofits To-Date!

As of October 2018, our organization has donated $4,171,976 to charity.

The Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation is the non-profit organization that oversees the annual Barracuda Championship PGA TOUR event. Since our inception in 1999, we have had the honor of aiding numerous charities thanks to the ongoing support of the community. We would like to recognize “Each One, Tell One” as the 2016 PGA TOUR Charity of the Year. “Each One, Tell One” is an organization dedicated to raising dense breast tissue awareness for early breast cancer detection, and we are proud to support this incredible movement. We thank the charity partners we work with, as well as the many sponsors, volunteers and additional supporters that have allowed us to continue to give back to deserving non-profits. The mission of the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation is to conduct a PGA TOUR-sanctioned professional golf tournament that will:

  • Contribute positively to the quality of life in our community
  • Provide growing annual financial contributions to charity
  • Promote volunteerism
  • Provide a positive economic impact to the community

The Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization recognized under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It was established in 1999 for the purpose of generating funds to operate the Barracuda Championship. After the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation reaches its operational goals, the Foundation supports other qualified charitable organizations. Contributions to the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. If you would like to become involved or lend your support of the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation, please contact us at 775-322-3900 or info@barracudachampionship.com.
