25th Barracuda Championship Brings World-Class Golf and Unforgettable Experiences
TRUCKEE, Calif. (July 13, 2023) – With the 25th annual Barracuda Championship right around the corner, golf fans can check out a lineup of unforgettable ways to experience Tahoe Mountain Club’s Old Greenwood beyond the fairways. As the area’s only PGA TOUR event, the highly anticipated tournament returns July 17-23, showcasing world-class golf, a host of big names and plenty to do “outside of the ropes.”

Bike to the Barracuda
Go green and ride your bike to the Barracuda Championship. Bike along the marked route from downtown Truckee to a special entrance behind tee 12 at Old Greenwood. Group rides are optional but encouraged. Spectators who Bike to the Barracuda will receive exclusive discounts on tickets, free bike parking, a free beer courtesy of FiftyFifty Brewing Co. and more.
Junior Golf Day sponsored by Youth on Course, Pro Bar, First Tee of Northern Nevada and Alpine Insurance – Tuesday, July 18

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Webinar – Tuesday, July 18
The Barracuda Championship continues to uphold its commitment to promoting diversity in golf. During the 2022 tournament, Barracuda Championship hosted a thought-provoking Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) webinar sponsored by Bank of America. Building off the success of last year’s webinar, the DEIB webinar makes a return hosted by Diaz Dixon. Joining is an esteemed panel including Las Versalles, culture and golf content creator, Adam Heieck, CEO of Youth on Course and Clemmie Perry, founder and director of Women of Color Golf who will provide invaluable insights and perspectives.
The Patio on the 18th Green
Every ticket into the Barracuda Championship grants access to The Patio where spectators can enjoy tasty barbecue or a refreshing beverage from one of the official alcohol partners. Mark Estee, nationally recognized chef and owner of Liberty Food & Wine Exchange, The Union, Overland Restaurant & Pub and Great Basin Brewing Co. will be the featured chef at The Patio.
