RENO, Nev. (February 18, 2016) – With more than $3.2 million given to date, the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation recently increased that total by $50,000. The nonprofit that oversees the annual Barracuda Championship PGA TOUR event presented $25,000 checks to Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation and the Terry Lee Wells Discovery Museum.

The checks were presented at Barracuda Championship’s annual Renegade member event, Evening with a Champion. The night featured a question and answer session with 2015 Barracuda Championship winner JJ Henry.

“It’s one thing to win a tournament, people yell and scream but in reality the fact that we are able to help give back to communities we play in is something really special,” said Henry.

The 18th annual Barracuda Championship is scheduled for June 27-July 3, 2016. For more information about the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation and the PGA TOUR event at Montrêux Golf & Country Club visit,
