Barracuda Championship Will Donate $25,000 To Sky Tavern
RENO, Nev. (June 30, 2016) — The Barracuda Championship has announced Sky Tavern as the winner of their $25,000 Charity Facebook Contest. Sky Tavern will receive $25,000 thanks to the support of Barracuda Networks. The donation will be made on behalf of the 18thannual Barracuda Championship PGA TOUR champion.
Sky Tavern, a local non-profit that runs ski and snowboard programs in the Reno-Tahoe area was selected after receiving 11,000 votes on Facebook.
In its 18-year history, the Barracuda Championship has donated more than $3.2 million to local charities including the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation and the Terry Lee Wells Discovery Museum.
