The Children’s Cabinet Has Special Opportunity
“INSIDE THE ROPES” BRINGS THE CHILDREN’S CABINET YOUTH UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL TO THE BARRACUDA CHAMPIONSHIP
WHO: The Children’s Cabinet “Inside the Ropes” during the 16th Annual Barracuda Championship.
WHAT: As part of the Barracuda Championship’s efforts to reach out to the local community, 12 youth from The Children’s Cabinet get to walk inside the ropes on holes one, two and nine. The teens are is accompanied by PGA TOUR players Troy Matteson and Tag Ridings and their caddies.
WHERE: Montrêux Golf & Country Club. WHEN: Tuesday, July 29 at 4:00-500 p.m.
Children meet players at the 1st tee box at 3:55 p.m.
WHY: Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation is proud to continue their partnership with the PGA TOUR 2012 Charity of the Year, The Children’s Cabinet. The foundation welcomes these 12 children in hopes to bring awareness to the Cabinet’s work of providing at risk members of the community with the opportunities and knowledge to improve their quality of life. At this fun event the youths get to meet some of the nation’s top players and enjoy the tournament while bringing attention to the Cabinet’s important cause.
